This genuine OEM Caterpillar crankshaft has been professionally inspected and processed by Duffin Diesel in San Antonio, Texas. Crankshaft is ready for final cleaning and installation after the correct crankshaft gear and application have been verified.

This crankshaft is sold bare. The crankshaft gear has been removed and is not included.
Caterpillar 3406E and non-ACERT C15 engines were produced with different front geartrain configurations, including straight-cut and helical-cut gears. The installer must supply and install the correct crankshaft gear for the engine’s existing geartrain.
The customer is responsible for verifying the engine serial number, crankshaft dimensions, gear configuration and complete application before installation.
